South Africa Delivery:

 

All orders are dispatched by our courier and delivered to your door.
If the item is in stock, delivery in KwaZulu-Natal will be within 72 hours and other major cities in South Africa within 5 working days.

 

Outlying areas may take a little longer. Please contact us to enquire.

 

Delivery - The delivery charge applies to however many items you order up to a certain weight. We will contact you with a revised quote if the weight of your order exceeds this.

 

Please note that if paying by cheque, this will add 7-10 working days to your order.

 

Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery. If you would like your order to be delivered to an alternative address (such as work or a neighbour if you are not at home), please let us know this address in the your correspondence to us. Unfortunately we do not deliver on weekends.

 

If your order is received while our office is closed (weekend & public holidays) your order will be processed the next working day.

 

International Orders and Deliveries:

 

We welcome overseas orders and are happy to dispatch items anywhere in the world.

 

Please note you will be responsible for any import duties on deliveries outside South Africa.

 

Delivery charge will vary depending on the weight of the order and the destination.
Please ask us to quote a delivery price when you place your order.

 

Out of Stock Items:

 

Although we try to keep sufficient stock, on occasion we may sell out of a particular item and it may take a while to re-order and many of our items are hand made..

 

If something is out of stock you can place a back order with us and we will give you an expected delivery date. If you have placed an order in which some items are in stock, and some are not, we will give you the option of retaining your entire order until all your goods are available for dispatch or you may receive the items individually.

 

Returns, Refunds, Exchanges:

 

We hope that you will be delighted with your Katie at Home purchases, and we will not be happy until you are. However we do understand that there may be times when you want to return goods to us, in such an instance, the item must be in pristine condition, unused and its original packaging. In which case we will either exchange them or give you a refund.

 

How to return Goods:

 

Goods can only be returned within 7 days of receiving them.

 

If you would like to return something please drop us an email at shop@katieathome.com and we will send you a returns form. Complete the returns form, indicating your invoice number, the product you are returning, and whether you would like an exchange or a refund.

 

If returning by registered post, send the returns form together with your item, carefully packed, to P.O Box 40050 Shelly Beach 4265, KwaZulu-Natal, SA.  If returning by courier kindly send to Katie at Home, The Emporium, 978 Marine Drive, Shelly Beach, 4265, KwaZulu-Natal, SA.

 

We suggest you ensure the parcel as we cannot accept responsibility for goods either lost or damaged in transit.

 

Please note that return postage or courier cost will only be refunded if goods are faulty. Please retain your receipt as proof of return.

 

Refunds for gifts can only be given to the person who purchased the item.

 

We process returns as soon as they arrive. Any exchanges should be dispatched within 3 days, but please allow up to 5 days for a refund to be processed.

 

Pricing:

 

All prices stated are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT 14%. Prices do however exclude delivery.

 

Custom Made Service:

 

At Katie at Home we realise that not everyone’s needs are the same. As such we offer a custom made service on certain of our items. We are able to manufacture such items to your specific size requirement, at an additional cost. Please contact us for details if you wish to make use of this service.
